SIMPLE - The Penny Pincher pump-off controller achieves pump-off detection by measuring pumping speed increases, in milliseconds, as the well pumps down (patented U. S. Pat. Ofc. # 4,873,635).

By eliminating strain gauge or load cell, D-Jax offers pump-off control that is less costly to purchase, install and maintain.
Also, the Penny Pincher is far simpler to calibrate and it stays calibrated. No special training, equipment or calibration is required to keep Penny Pinchers operating at peak efficiency.

RELIABLE - The Penny Pincher is not only simple and user friendly, it is also one of the most reliable pump-off controllers available.
Fiber optic circuitry greatly reduces the chances of catastrophic damage to the controller logic board from power surges and/or electrical spikes. Should a Penny Pincher go down, a field hand can easily unplug the boards, remove the screws, replace a board and in only a few minutes, have the Well and Penny Pincher back online and be on his/her way. SIMPLE.

No strain gauges or load cells eliminates a complicated maintenance “trouble spot” associated with ALL other pump-off controls.

UNIVERSAL APPLICATION – The D-JAX "time based" method of pump-off detection used by the Penny Pincher allows for a wide range of applications. Penny Pinchers are in daily use around the world for shallow and deep wells (13,000 feet), high volume and "stripper" class low volume wells.

And now, with the new PLUS™ Modbus protocol option, the Penny Pincher can be easily and inexpensively upgraded to allow for SCADA Telemetry and easy transmission of well operating parameters to your remote desktop.
